A leading investment management firm is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support the security, resilience, and scalability of its cloud infrastructure and technology platforms. The organization manages assets for institutional and private clients worldwide while leveraging advanced technologies to support investment research, portfolio management, trading operations, and business-critical services. As the firm's cloud footprint continues to expand, the security team is investing heavily in modern cloud technologies, security automation, and enterprise-wide cyber defense capabilities.
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for securing cloud environments across the full technology stack. This position offers a blend of engineering, operational security, architecture review, automation, and risk reduction initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure teams, developers, security operations, and business stakeholders to identify security gaps, implement controls, and improve the organization's overall cloud security posture.
The role requires a broad understanding of cloud technologies and emerging cybersecurity threats. You will help design security controls, improve visibility across cloud environments, remediate vulnerabilities, support incident response efforts, develop security automation solutions, and evaluate new technologies before they are deployed into production. Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience securing AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and infrastructure security
  • Experience with vulnerability management and remediation programs
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, logging, and monitoring platforms
  • Understanding of IAM concepts and access controls
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Knowledge of cloud-native security services and security best practices
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Understanding of incident response and security investigations
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • 8+ years of cloud security, cybersecurity, or infrastructure security experience
  • Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes environments
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies
  • Experience with CSPM and security automation tools
  • AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, CISSP, or equivalent certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
