M&J Engineering is a leader in construction management and inspection, ITS, mechanical, electrical, wastewater, water supply, tunnel airport, port, marine/coastal, environmental engineering, and design-build services for both new infrastructure projects and renovations.
Lead transformative infrastructure projects as a Project Manager with expertise in civil, site, and transportation engineering. This role combines technical oversight, client engagement, and team leadership to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
Key Skills: Project management technical and financial skills, communication skills, AutoCAD capabilities and familiarity with specialized software, preparation of contract documents for construction, estimating, technical writing and proposal development, presentation skills, team leadership, public engagement experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams on transportation and infrastructure improvement projects involving roadway/site/civil/ drainage and related projects
  • Technical review and guidance for the preparation of AutoCAD drawings and specifications to create contract documents for construction, permitting requirements, and contract administration during construction
  • Manage project budgets and finances, schedules, and client relationships
  • Development of construction cost estimates
  • Contract preparation and the coordination of subconsultants
  • Mentor and direct project and staff level engineers to enhance their professional development
  • Participate in proposal development, interview presentations and contract negotiations
  • Familiarity with Federal, State and local regulatory requirements to comply with safety, quality assurance and project delivery

Qualifications
Education: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
PE licensure required
Experience: Minimum of 10 years, 3 years as Project Manager
Salary Range (CT): $130,000 - $160,000, depending on experience.
