Texas Office of the Attorney General (OAG)
Position: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 4+ months 723 Hours
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the OAG.
OAG may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks
as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
Worker performs advanced project management work with responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of a team of project managers. The worker will have knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis, development or operational multiple-phase projects for which they have responsibility. The worker will manage day-to-day execution of design, development, testing and implementation activities; actively encourage and facilitate communication between business analysts, development, QA teams, business customers and/or system and data administrators; and ensure that system requirements are documented, complete, accurate and approved. The worker will provide management, assessment, mentoring and training of project team members including:
  • Evaluating and documenting as-is project management processes and methodology;
  • Developing, documenting and training team members on to-be project management processes and methodology;
  • Providing coaching, training and mentoring of FTE project managers;
  • Provide a teaching model of successfully managing a small-medium project from beginning to end.
