Job description

The Right of Way Project Coordinator will support real estate activities including acquisition coordination, document preparation, and stakeholder communication for utility, transportation, and infrastructure projects. As a Right of Way Project Coordinator, you will interface with the project team and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Essential Functions
  • Provide real estate support for acquisitions and other real estate activities
  • Coordinate with Right of Way Specialists and Admins to ensure timely document preparation and tracking
  • Assist in negotiating acquisitions/divestitures under supervision
  • Prepare and review Deeds, Easements, Options, and Agreements
  • Support property settlements and maintain accurate records
  • Attend project meetings and assist in preparing updates and minutes
  • Assist in preparing Comparable Market Analysis reports and just compensation letters
  • Assist in reviewing title commitments and research county land records
  • Maintain project databases and shared drives for lease/license agreements
  • Support activities directed by Project Manager
  • Support permit applications and coordination with local agencies

Required Skills and Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in real estate or right-of-way coordination
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interpret and organize information from multiple sources
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with land acquisition processes and documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Notary or ability to obtain one as required

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in land acquisition or real estate support
  • Experience supporting Department of Transportation, Utility, and infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to the Uniform Relocation and Real Property Act
  • IRWA coursework or certifications desirable
