Job description


The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, enterprise-wide technology and process improvement projects that enable strategic business and digital objectives.
Operating in matrixed environment, the Senior Program Manager ensures alignment between IT strategy, operational excellence priorities, technical execution, and business outcomes while managing interdependencies, risks, governance, and financial performance across multiple projects. This role partners closely with IT leadership, architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver large-scale, high-visibility initiatives.
Please note this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office & 2 days WFH). This position can be based in Secaucus, NJ or Schaumburg, IL .
Pay Range:$150,000 - $160,000 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs comprised of multiple interrelated projects
  • Define program vision, scope, objectives, success metrics, and governance structure
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, budgets, and resource strategies
  • Manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, influencing without direct authority
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy and program execution
  • Drive executive-level stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting
  • Oversee financial management including forecasting, budget tracking, and benefits realization
  • Establish and maintain program governance, standards, and performance metrics
  • Facilitate decision-making and escalation management across complex stakeholder groups
  • Lead change management activities to support adoption and realization of outcomes
  • Promote continuous improvement in delivery practices, tools, and methodologies

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8-12+ years of progressive program and/or project management experience
  • Demonstrated success delivering large, complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience operating in highly matrixed organizations
  • Strong financial, risk, and dependency management capabilities
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in evolving environments
  • Experience with security remediation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hygiene initiatives preferred

Preferred Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PgMP (Program Management Professional)
  • Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster)
