The Innovation, Technology, and Solutions (ITS) Group is BEMโ€™s dedicated SaaS growth engine. ITS develops scalable, secure, and AI-enabled products for government and private sectors. This business line drives ARR growth, product innovation, and market diversification.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our ITS SaaS and mobile product portfolio. This role will shape next-generation solutions for government and private sector clients, ensuring scalability, compliance, and continuous innovation. You will also spearhead initiatives to integrate AI capabilities and deliver a configurable product variant for new markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Product Strategy & Vision โ€“ Define and own the roadmap for SaaS and mobile applications aligned with growth objectives.
  • Product Strategy & Vision โ€“ Champion AI-driven features and modular architecture for rapid deployment.
  • Client-Centric Development โ€“ Engage with DOTs, transit agencies, and private sector clients to gather requirements.
  • Client-Centric Development โ€“ Translate regulatory and operational needs into actionable product features.
  • Execution & Delivery โ€“ Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
  • Execution & Delivery โ€“ Ensure timely delivery of releases meeting SOC 2, CMMC, and compliance standards.
  • Performance & Analytics โ€“ Define KPIs for adoption, retention, and ARR growth; leverage data for decisions.
  • Performance & Analytics โ€“ Collaborate on analytic dashboards for actionable insights.
  • Innovation & AI Integration โ€“ Drive AI engine integration into SaaS and mobile applications.
  • Innovation & AI Integration โ€“ Explore new use cases for AI in transportation and infrastructure workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in SaaS and mobile applications.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise-grade products with compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, cloud platforms (Azure Gov/Commercial), and API-driven architectures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with DOTs, transportation agencies, or government clients is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with AI/ML integration in SaaS and mobile products.
  • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Preferred Skills: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and product analytics platforms.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience designing and managing analytic dashboards for data visualization.
  • Ability to be in Madison, NJ office for three days a week.
Success Criteria
  • Launch at least one major SaaS release and one mobile update aligned with ARR growth targets.
  • Deliver initial AI-driven features in production for at least one core workflow.
  • Conduct 10+ strategic client sessions to validate roadmap and gather feedback.
  • Achieve 80% adoption for new features among existing SaaS clients within 6 months of release.
  • Contribute to a minimum 10โ€“15% increase in annual recurring revenue through product enhancements and new market entry.
