Job description

  • Support all phases of systems engineering, software systems development, systems integration, cloud infrastructure, and network engineering activities.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and recommendations on complex technical initiatives, operational issues, and system enhancements.
  • Formulate and define system specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs.
  • Develop, modify, maintain, and enhance complex systems, subsystems, applications, and infrastructure components.
  • Utilize vendor engineering releases, cloud-native services, monitoring solutions, and system utilities to support operational systems and ensure optimal performance.
  • Apply analytical techniques to gather information from stakeholders, define technical problems, evaluate alternatives, and design effective technology solutions.
  • Develop and document procedures, processes, and technical solutions to resolve system and operational issues.
  • Analyze system architectures, methods of approach, and technical requirements to support project planning and execution.
  • Gather, evaluate, and interpret system, performance, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support cloud-based environments, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure and applications.

  • Monitor and manage data logging processes to support system health monitoring, troubleshooting, performance analysis, auditing, and incident response activities.
  • Investigate and resolve system, network, application, and cloud-related issues to maintain operational readiness and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement technical solutions and support organizational objectives.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, recommendations, and presentations related to system performance, upgrades, and modernization efforts.

Requirements
  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, software integration, network engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related technical disciplines.
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Splunk administration, log analysis, monitoring, dashboard development, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with data logging, system monitoring, performance analysis, and incident management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience administering and supporting Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Cribl Stream, and/or Cribl Edge in large-scale enterprise environments (preferred).
  • Experience developing dashboards, alerts, searches, and reporting capabilities that enable proactive monitoring, incident response, performance analysis, and compliance reporting (preferred).
