While our expertise spans multiple disciplines, our method remains consistent: building trust and relationship with people -- whether you are a client, a consultant, or--in this case--a candidate.

No matter what role you come from--whether you\'re an executive or just starting your career-you can expect our highest level of attention and respect. We want to find the right fit for each role, but we also want you to find the right fit for your career.

We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you\'re already a part of it. We hope you\'ll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Groupโ€”and having fun while doing it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:ย

As a Hybridย  Infrastructure Engineer Consultant, you will help design, implement, and support modern hybrid infrastructure solutions that span both enterprise on-premises environments and Microsoft Azure. This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong experience across core infrastructure technologies, cloud services, automation, and operational support. You will play a key role in evolving infrastructure capabilities while ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business needs.

You will work across compute, networking, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery platforms to support a unified hybrid infrastructure strategy. In partnership with application teams, security, and operations, you will help deliver production-ready solutions while contributing to automation, infrastructure-as-code practices, and operational improvements. This role also requires adaptability and a forward-thinking mindset, including leveraging AI-assisted workflows and tooling to improve engineering efficiency and delivery outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ย

  • Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms across both on-premises and Azure environments
  • Administer core Microsoft infrastructure services including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services
  • Manage virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms, including clustering and high-availability configurations
  • Support enterprise storage environments and contribute to monitoring and optimization efforts
  • Administer SQL Server environments, including high availability and disaster recovery solutions across hybrid environments
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery tooling as part of a broader business continuity strategy
  • Support endpoint security, cloud security posture management, and infrastructure hardening initiatives
  • Administer certificate lifecycle and PKI solutions in enterprise environments
  • Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms across infrastructure systems
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure solutions using Terraform, GitHub, and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Contribute to automation initiatives and reusable infrastructure components that improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to support automation, documentation, and operational improvements

ABOUT YOU:

  • Your values:
    • Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it\'s uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
    • Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
    • Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, and clustering technologies
  • Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments using Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with Azure governance, monitoring, and security capabilities
  • Experience with enterprise storage and backup/recovery platforms
  • Experience managing SQL Server environments with high availability and disaster recovery configurations
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, subnetting, and firewall concepts
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms
  • Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and GitHub
  • Familiarity with security tooling and enterprise security best practices
  • Experience leveraging automation or AI-assisted tooling within engineering workflows
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing or supporting advanced Azure networking solutions
  • Familiarity with Azure Arc, Azure Policy, or hybrid cloud governance strategies
  • Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation
  • Experience with Terraform module development and Terraform Cloud
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-800, or AZ-801
  • Familiarity with Azure PaaS services and platform engineering practices
  • Experience supporting self-service infrastructure or internal developer platform initiatives
