Job Summary

The IT Engineer IV – Cloud Platform Solutions is a senior‑level engineering role focused on driving enterprise cloud strategy, architecture, and platform enablement. This position combines hands‑on engineering expertise with architecture leadership to build, scale, and optimize secure, resilient, and high‑performing cloud environments across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture and platform strategy aligned to enterprise goals.
  • Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across AWS and/or Azure environments.
  • Drive cloud enablement through reusable infrastructure patterns, templates, and self‑service capabilities.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines to support modern DevOps practices.
  • Establish and enforce cloud governance standards, including policy‑as‑code, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to support cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, replatform, rearchitect).
  • Implement and enhance observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and reliability engineering standards.
  • Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices, including cloud usage analysis and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams across the organization.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application architectures.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
