Job Details

As a Senior IT Generalist, you\'ll be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex IT infrastructures across multiple client environments. This is a hands-on technical role where you\'ll serve as a senior escalation point, project lead, and trusted advisor while helping develop junior engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for networking, server, virtualization, cloud, and security issues
  • Lead infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle projects
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
  • Deploy and support VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
  • Configure enterprise networking including VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewalls, ACLs, segmentation, and wireless infrastructure
  • Deploy and support physical security and access control systems
  • Administer Avaya cloud and on-prem telephony environments
  • Mentor Tier I and Tier II engineers
  • Create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with clients
  • Participate in infrastructure planning and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience
  • MSP experience strongly preferred
  • Expert-level networking experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Dell, HP ProCurve, Ubiquiti, or similar
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Azure infrastructure experience
  • VMware ESXi and Hyper-V administration
  • Windows Server administration
  • Firewall configuration and security best practices
  • Backup and disaster recovery planning
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Outstanding customer communication skills
  • Ability to lead projects independently
Preferred Certifications
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
  • Cisco CCNA (or equivalent)
  • Additional Microsoft or security certifications are highly desirable
