Job description

At Telligen, our engineering teams move fast - and they need infrastructure that moves with them. We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Platform and DevOps team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help shape and operate Telligen's cloud and DevOps capabilities, with a strong focus on AWS platform management, automation, and reliable application delivery.
You will build scalable cloud infrastructure, improving deployment workflows, and partner with development and operations teams to deliver secure, resilient, and observable technology solutions. The position combines hands-on AWS engineering, infrastructure as code, CI/CD enablement, monitoring, and continuous improvement to support business-critical systems and future cloud growth.
What you'll do:
  • Lead the design and integration of infrastructure solutions across cloud, network, and on-premises environments to meet organizational needs and future growth
  • Take end-to-end ownership of complex systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance
  • Act as the primary technical authority for assigned platforms
  • Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code definitions and modular components that support standardized, version-controlled, and automated infrastructure management
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions to ensure visibility into infrastructure health and performance
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and increase repeatability
  • Integrate infrastructure solutions with CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with application development and DevOps teams
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution related to infrastructure and system availability
  • Maintain documentation related to system architecture, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Assess and recommend new tools, platforms, and practices to enhance infrastructure capabilities and align with organizational strategy
  • Support compliance and security standards across all infrastructure environments
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 7+ years in infrastructure engineering or systems administration, with 5+ years managing core infrastructure on AWS
  • Deep, practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar)
  • Real-world experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or comparable tools), ideally in direct collaboration with software development teams
  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tooling - Dynatrace, CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms
  • A track record of owning systems as part of a team: design, deployment, incident response, and continuous improvement
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Industry-recognized certifications related to infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, security, or systems engineering
  • Experience with one or more major infrastructure platforms (Cisco, Palo Alto, AWS, M365, VMWare)
  • Experience operating infrastructure in environments with high availability requirements, multiple interconnected systems, or significant operational complexity
