Job description

Project Lead
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize and manage all project management activities for agency wide initiatives as an experienced agency project manager.
• Demonstrate project management expertise in both traditional and agile methodologies and influence project team compliance with industry best practices.
• Manage the overall planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects in parallel. Control scope and schedule to ensure project deliverables, milestones and required tasks are completed as planned.
• This role will bring strong project management expertise, the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Plan and conduct project status and review meetings. Prepare project status reports and provide updates to project stakeholders and sponsors. Must be able to work with a diverse group of professionals in all levels of the agency.
• Prepare necessary documentation to support project initiatives. Manage development of project documentation for new services assigned. Ensure all required project documentation is developed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage in ongoing process improvement around delivery, methodology and other relevant areas. Identify potential problems proactively and facilitate problem resolutions by implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Current projects include but are not limited to the following:
o Mortgage Servicing and Mortgage Production technology solution.
o Development and Compliance Monitoring technology solution.
o Contract Administration technology solution.
o Agency Business Continuity.
o Space Needs – Assess facility requirements for a new location that supports workforce needs, operational efficiency, and future growth.
Fully Onsite in Columbia, SC
Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed.

Required Skills (Rank in order of Importance):
• 5+ Years of Experience in IT project management
• 3+ Years of Experience in Hybrid (Agile and Waterfall) Project Management.
• 3+ Years of Experience Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development
• 3+ Years of Experience in Risk Management

• 3+ Years of Experience in Change Management
• 3+ Years of Experience in Budget Planning
