Job description

Job Title: IT Manager

The IT Manager will play a key role in leading the Information Technology department. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of successful IT management. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of information systems and technology solutions to support the city's operations and initiatives.


**Responsibilities:**


1. **Strategic Planning:**

   - Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the city's goals and objectives.

   - Collaborate with department heads to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.


2. **Team Leadership:**

   - Supervise and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

   - Ensure the IT team delivers high-quality services and support to all city departments.


3. **Infrastructure Management:**

   - Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the city's IT infrastructure.

   - Evaluate and recommend upgrades to hardware, software, and network systems.


4. **Project Management:**

   - Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

   - Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.


5. **Security and Compliance:**
