JD:
Client is seeking an experienced Informatica ETL Engineer to support its Claims business unit. This person will evaluate existing data workflows, identify operational and performance issues, and develop reliable and scalable ETL solutions.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle, and production support. The engineer will work closely with database administrators, application teams, and business stakeholders to improve data quality, system performance, and operational stability.
 
Key Responsibilities
* Review existing ETL workflows and identify performance bottlenecks, operational issues, and recurring errors.
* Design and implement end-to-end solutions that improve system efficiency.
* Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable ETL frameworks.
* Enhance and modernize legacy Informatica workflows.
* Develop and troubleshoot Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows.
* Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries.
* Partner with database engineering and DBA teams on data models, query optimization, and deployments.
* Provide hands-on production support for critical ETL pipelines.
* Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production incidents.
* Monitor data pipelines and improve their reliability and performance.
* Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
 
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 8 years of ETL development experience.
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle.
* Strong experience with ETL design, development, testing, and production support.
* Advanced Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and query-performance-tuning skills.
* Experience auditing legacy ETL workflows and designing scalable ETL frameworks.
* Strong production-support, troubleshooting, and incident-management experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
