Cityside Fiber is seeking a motivated Information Systems Developer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal business applications, integrations, and automated workflows that support HR, Operations, Finance, and other functions across the company, and plays a key part in modernizing and scaling Cityside's internal systems as the company grows. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain internal applications, scripts, and system integrations that support business operations
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows and process integrations (e.g., Power Automate, APIs) connecting core business systems such as the HRIS, timekeeping, and CRM platforms
  • Write, test, and debug code across front-end and back-end components as needed for internal tools
  • Collaborate with department stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into functional technical specifications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing databases, applications, and integrations, resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Document system architecture, workflows, and code to support maintainability and knowledge transfer
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and technologies to improve system efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across systems and integrations
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and testing efforts
  • Contribute to a culture of trust, integrity, and collaboration
  • Understand and uphold Cityside Fiber's core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in software/application development, systems integration, or a related information systems role
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with relational databases and data management best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
