Job Summary:
Suncap Technology is seeking an ETL Informatica Developer with expertise in IICS and AWS or GCP. The role involves analyzing business requirements and developing scalable ETL processes while ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for analyzing the business requirements, design, develop and implement highly efficient, highly scalable ETL processes.
• Performs daily and project functions with a focus on meeting the business objectives on time within a rapidly changing work environment.
• Ability to analyze ETL workflows that are being migrated from Informatica Power Center (IPS) to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and deploy workflows to production.
• Ability to forge strong relationships and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders during outages and actively communicate updates to application development and Business partners.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Senior: Skills equiv. to 9-10 years in comparable position.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in development, support, and maintenance of ETL and database applications
• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Strong SQL knowledge, shell scripting and deep understanding of relational database concepts.
• Ability to analyze ETL workflows that are being migrated from Informatica Power Center (IPS) to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and troubleshoot issues.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS or GCP technologies or equivalent (BigQuery, GCS, DataProc, DataFusion, Cloud IAM, DLP)
• Hands-on experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control M etc.
• Experience with Python, PERL and other scripting languages
• Familiar and comfortable with agile development techniques
• Exposure to DevOps, Splunk, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Monitoring Tools
• Work with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and deploy workflows to production.
• Critical-thinking and strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data
• Ability to interpret key trends and metrics, and leverage them for actionable decisions
• Ability to forge strong relationships and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders during outages and actively communicate updates to application development and Business partners
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, effective communication and timely delivery of work are critical.
Preferred:
• Functional knowledge of financial stock brokerage will be a bonus
