Job description

I have an opportunity to be a "Informatica PowerCenter - IICS - HYBRID - Mclean, VA. . We are looking for a candidate who can join Immediately if you are interested, reply to us with your updated resume or if you could refer someone we would really appreciate it.
Position : Informatica PowerCenter_IICS Senior
Location : McLean, VA - HYBRID
Duration : 6 to 12 Months Contract
Looking for Local candidates to DC, MD, VA.
Interview information:
Rounds: 2 rounds
Duration: 1st - 30 minutes; 2nd - 90 minutes
Interview Type: 1st round - MS Teams, Video Mandatory; 2nd round - ONSITE In person

  • The Client prefers to see candidates with IICS experience over Informatica PowerCenter. IICS is a must have requirement. Candidates must also have AWS experience. IICS and AWS are the critical skillsets required for this role.
  • The Client will accept candidates having less than 5 years of experience in IICS or PowerCenter. However, the candidate must have AWS cloud experience compensating for the lack of experience in IICS OR PowerCenter.
  • Cloud experience: AWS cloud experience is the absolute must have. Candidates having Azure & GCP experience along with AWS cloud is a huge plus.
  • Day to day: IICS administration. Administrative duties involve managing user onboarding and maintaining the environment for the IICS tool on the AWS platform.
  • SQL experience: Not required. Basic SQL experience is nice to have.
  • Team composition: 1 - 10 members. The developer will be coordinating with 5 - 6 teams.

Required Skills: Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and/or Informatica PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration (CDI), AWS cloud, UNIX scripting, and any other ETL tools
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and Data Replication.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting of tasks.
  • Expertise in shell scripting and/or python.
  • Knowledge of application development lifecycles, & continuous integration/deployment practices.
  • Experience with AWS S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis and Snowflake.
  • Proficient in Agile Software Development methodology, processes, and practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT, Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years overall current and hands-on development experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
  • Minimum five (5) years of current and hands-on experience with complex SQL and high-volume Relational databases and SQL Query performance tuning.
  • Minimum two (2) years of current and hands-on UNIX shell scripting experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of current and hands-on scheduler experience (Control-M/Autosys).
