    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Systems Administrator will ensure that FirstKey Homes' IT infrastructure is optimized, maintained and secured. This role will analyze infrastructure needs, coordinate the implementation of solutions and equipment, monitor systems and networks and troubleshoot matters to ensure performance optimization and security.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    • Assists in the maintenance and optimization of company Workstations and various infrastructure:

    • Assists in endpoint management and patch management of Workstations:

      • Leverages tools to deploy patches and applications to endpoints:

        • Workstations - Endpoint Central, Intune

    • Assess system performance and availability and recommend improvements

      • Use various monitoring, logging and performance tools to verify high system performance and availability within a 24x7 environment.

        • N-Able, Endpoint Central, Intune

      • Note issues with performance & availability and draft proposals for Leadership on steps to rectify

    • Assists in management of system images (Golden Images) and troubleshooting imaging system issues

    • Perform installations, upgrades and configurations of various hardware and software platforms

    • Perform user-level-support in FKH's Azure Virtual Desktop VDI environments

    • Assist in supporting Telecom needs

    • Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelines

    • Provide escalated support and guidance to IT Support Team when necessary

    • Assist in developing IT policies and practices

    • Work with Cybersecurity team to monitor and rectify vulnerabilities (vulnerability management)

      • Qualys, Endpoint Central, Microsoft Azure reporting

    • Understanding of basic Networking principles:

      • TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, DHCP

    • Work alongside team-members to complete office moves and deployment of equipment to field offices.

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Primarily working indoors, office environment.

    • Average of 5-10% travel (2-4 times per year).

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience and/or education

    • Understanding of Patch Management for Endpoints and Servers

    • Understanding of DR practices, specifically within Azure (Backup, Site Recovery)

    • Experience delivering compliance metrics (% to target)

    • Active Directory - Group Policy, AD U&C, DNS, DHCP

    • Minimum 2-years' experience as a Systems Administrator, Desktop Support Engineer or similar role

    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    • Hands-on experience with Windows(10,11, Server2016,2019)/Mac OS environments

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    • Certification in Microsoft or similar technologies

    • Experience working in property management, real estate or similar industry

    • Experience working in fast pace, high-growth company

    • Hands-on experience in Business Continuity planning

    • Hands-on experience in application integrations, such as SSO

    • Direct experience drafting policies in various IT operational topics

    • Hands-on experience in performing migrations, such as moving a workload into Azure

    • Experience in configuring and managing advanced backup platforms (Synology, Veeam, etc.)
