Procurement Project Manager

Location: Remote – US

12+ Months Contract

Pay Rate: $40-$48/hr. on W2
Schedule: Must be available to regularly work 8:00 AM–12:00 PM ET for EMEA collaboration

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Procurement Project Manager to lead strategic procurement projects and operational initiatives supporting Employee Benefits and Talent Acquisition services. This role will partner closely with Procurement, HR, Finance, Legal, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to manage sourcing initiatives, RFPs, supplier transitions, contract activities, and business transformation projects.
• The ideal candidate combines strong project management, strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, analytics, and executive communication skills and is comfortable managing multiple global workstreams in a complex, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support RFI/RFP, sourcing, supplier selection, and evaluation activities.
• Gather requirements, develop evaluation criteria, assess suppliers, and prepare sourcing recommendations.
• Manage complex cross-functional projects involving Procurement, HR, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, and suppliers.
• Collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze data across countries, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Develop executive presentations, business cases, governance materials, status reports, and decision documents.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, MSAs, SOWs, and supplier transitions.
• Manage project governance, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder communications.
• Support global/OUS procurement initiatives related to Employee Benefits, Benefits Brokerage, Benefits Consulting, Talent Acquisition, and RPO.
• Drive procurement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support divestitures, carve-outs, business separations, supplier transitions, and transformation initiatives.
• Monitor savings targets, payment-term remediation, procurement milestones, business outcomes, and operational performance metrics.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring delivery against timelines and business objectives.
• Provide day-to-day procurement and project management support for Benefits and Talent Acquisition initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, Supplier Management, or related areas.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional procurement projects.
• Experience with RFI/RFP, supplier evaluation, sourcing, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Strong understanding of procurement operations, contract administration, supplier governance, and sourcing methodologies.
• Experience with contract renewals, amendments, MSAs, SOWs, supplier transitions, and contract separations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with complex data sets and business insights.
• Experience creating executive presentations, business cases, governance updates, and recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects without direct authority.
• Experience working with global/EMEA stakeholders preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Working Hours

Candidates must be willing and able to regularly work 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Eastern Time to provide overlap with EMEA-based leadership and stakeholders.
