Job description

Summary Supports aquatic events such as collegiate and age-group swim and dive meets or other facility rentals. Career Readiness Competencies: Career & Self-Development Communication Critical Thinking Essential Functions Assists with elements of event planning such as event setup, operation, and teardown. Physical setup and teardown for aquatic events such as swim meets, water polo tournaments, dive meets, special events, student engagement activities, inflatable rentals, etc.

Serve as a liaison to participants, coaches, and officials and learn working knowledge of timing system and physical setup. Ensure overall pool safety maintenance and cleanliness which may include accurately testing and recording water quality, assuring chemical balance, maintaining aquatic facility equipment, and assisting with special events. Other duties as assigned to ensure safe operation of aquatic events.

Minimum Qualifications Possess and display professional mannerisms, alertness, and a friendly demeanor. Willingness to learn to set up and operate swimming competition timing system. Willingness to learn to accurately test and record water quality.
