Job description

This role is responsible for leading the development and planning of a comprehensive cross channel media strategy in collaboration with the VP, Media and Media Manager. The role oversees day to day media activity across digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and applying data driven insights to optimize performance. Ownership responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on media effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making strategic adjustments to enhance outcomes. The position will also lead the search practice. With leadership support, the Senior Media Strategist will manage platform buys and develop relationships with media partners to ensure effective coordination and will support the execution of paid media initiatives. Responsibilities also include managing the media budget, confirming alignment between planned and actual spending, conducting competitive analysis, and staying informed about evolving media trends, technologies, and industry best practices. The role will lead long term media strategy and support daily operational execution, while completing any other job-related duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field. Experience of more than five years in digital advertising, including management and optimization of social media, programmatic advertising, and paid search campaigns. Expertise in paid search and evolving search landscape is strongly preferred. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, along with advertising platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and The Trade Desk. Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, KPIs, ad operations, and related technologies, with experience in programmatic budgeting and digital media buying. Strong analytical ability to interpret data, extract insights, and support media decisions. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment. Highly adaptable and capable of maintaining strong project ownership. Working knowledge in traditional media, including TV, out of home, radio, and print, is also required.
