Position Overview

As our Insurance Supplementing Specialist, you will be the bridge between our field inspections and the insurance companies. Your primary mission is to review scope-of-loss documents, identify missing components or code requirements, and negotiate supplements to ensure every project is fully funded and built to code.

Key Responsibilities

Review & Analyze: Thoroughly evaluate insurance adjuster scopes of loss against our field notes, photos, and satellite reports (EagleView, Hover, etc.).

Draft Supplements: Build and submit accurate, comprehensive supplemental estimates using Xactimate.

Negotiate & Approve: Communicate directly with insurance adjusters to justify, negotiate, and secure approval for supplemental items.

Track & Document: Maintain meticulous records of supplement statuses, approvals, and payouts within our CRM.

Collaborate: Work closely with our sales team and project managers to gather necessary job site evidence (photos, measurements) to back up claims.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience specifically in roofing insurance supplementing or as an insurance property adjuster.

Software Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Xactimate is strictly required. Experience with roofing CRMs (e.g., JobNimbus, AccuLynx) is a major plus.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential roofing residential construction methods, building codes (IRC), and manufacturer installation requirements.

Communication Skills: Strong, professional negotiation skills with the ability to remain assertive yet diplomatic when dealing with insurance carriers.

Detail-Oriented: An eagle eye for spotting missing line items that others overlook.
