Infinity Hospice Care is seeking an experienced Hospice Executive Director to lead the overall operations, growth, quality, and performance of our hospice program.
This is an opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving operations, developing staff, and making a meaningful difference for patients and families.
The Executive Director serves as a key leader within the organization, partnering closely with clinical and executive leadership to ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining strong operational and financial performance.


What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the hospice program.
  • Partner with the Clinical Director and interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate staffing, resources, and exceptional patient care.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, coach, and develop employees while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance, including budgets, revenue, expenses, and resource utilization.
  • Review operational results and develop strategies for continuous improvement and achievement of organizational goals.
  • Support QAPI, compliance, quality metrics, and regulatory readiness, including CHAP/ACHC, state, and federal hospice requirements.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and clinical standards are effectively implemented throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, employees, vendors, and community partners.
  • Work closely with the Account Executive and VP of Strategic Initiatives to strengthen community and referral relationships.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, communication, and patient-centered care.
  • Oversee staff development, education, performance goals, and improvement plans.
  • Review and approve invoices and expenditures within established budgets and parameters.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, data collection, and performance measurement systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient and customer satisfaction and overall agency performance.
  • Serve as a key resource to clinical and operational teams and provide leadership and direction when needed.
  • Keep executive leadership informed of regulatory, operational, staffing, and organizational developments.
  • Participate as a core member of compliance and QAPI initiatives.
  • Support the overall development and administration of the agency in alignment with organizational goals, mission, and available resources.


Requirements:What We're Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on, accountable healthcare leader who understands that successful hospice operations require both exceptional patient care and sound business management.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospice supervisory or management experience, with experience overseeing day-to-day operations in hospice, home health, or a related healthcare organization.
  • Experience supervising and directing professional and administrative staff.
  • Experience managing or contributing to budgets, financial performance, staffing, and operational outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of hospice regulations, policies, and quality standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business and healthcare environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to travel to office/support locations as needed.
