• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging and supportive group sessions where clients can share experiences, connect with peers, and foster a sense of community.
• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized sessions that explore clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop effective coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
• Progress Monitoring: Assess client progress utilizing various tools and methodologies, including standardized assessments and ongoing feedback to ensure effective intervention strategies.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate care and tackle complex client needs.

In this role, you will work primarily with young adults who face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be crucial in providing support and guidance as clients navigate their challenges and work towards recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Texas is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients displaying mood disorders in both residential and outpatient settings.
• A collaborative mindset, thriving as a part of a multidisciplinary team focused on positive change.
• Strong clinical skills, including expertise in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Experience working with young adult populations and understanding their unique psychological and emotional needs.
• Previous roles in diverse treatment settings that enhance your capability to tailor approaches for various client scenarios.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and client management software for efficient documentation practices.
