Collaboration with diverse departments and quick adaptation to new evidence are key to effectively minimizing infection risks.

To work in infection prevention, professionals typically need a background in healthcare, public health, or microbiology, along with relevant certifications such as Certified in Infection Control (CIC). Such programs are crucial for maintaining patient safety and meeting regulatory requirements.
