Job description

Overview:

  • Position: Dental Assistant (Part-Time)
  • Location: Topeka, KS

Position Summary:

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our dental team serving in a senior outpatient clinic in Topeka, KS. As a Dental Assistant for CMC, you'll bring dental care directly to seniors who often have limited access to dentistry. It's hands-on, meaningful work to support your community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist chairside for general dentistry
  • Set up, break down, and maintain portable dental equipment
  • Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Ensure patients feel comfortable, supported, and informed
  • Complete basic documentation, charting and administrative tasks
  • Represent CMC with professionalism, compassion, and reliability

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of chairside Dental Assisting experience preferred
  • Certified/Registered Dental Assistant preferred
  • Active Radiation Certificate preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control procedures
  • Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver's License
  • Able to lift and transport dental equipment (25–50 lbs)
  • Must pass a federal background check and drug screening
  • Professional, punctual, and able to work independently

Schedule:

  • 2-3 days per week
  • Typical hours: 8am - 4:30pm
  • No nights
