Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the dental office. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments are prepared and available.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
- Implement infection control protocols in compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to provide effective support during procedures.
- Educate patients on post-operative care.

Experience

Guttormsen & Hoffner Dental is a private practice that is passionate about serving our communities dental needs. Our office is lead by our two amazing Dr's, Dr. Laura Guttormsen and Dr. Catherine Hoffner. We have four operatories. Two are utilized by the doctors while the other two are utilized by our hygienists. We use Eaglesoft software.
