We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician / Hygiene Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment while supporting our hygienists and doctors in delivering exceptional patient care.
Full Time Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
  • Pediatric Experience Required 
  • Hygiene Assistance Experience Required 
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dental office Required
  • Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
  • X-ray certification Required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification Required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
  • Properly sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and operatories according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
  • Maintain and monitor sterilization equipment and logs
  • Set up and break down treatment rooms for hygiene and dental procedures
  • Assist hygienists with charting, x-rays, suctioning, and patient care as needed
  • Ensure adequate inventory of clinical supplies and restock as necessary
  • Welcome patients to the treatment area and help them feel comfortable
  • Accurately update patient records and assist with documentation
  • Follow all infection control, health, and safety protocols
  • Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling or confirming appointments
