The Vineyards Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing facility located at 76 Fenton Street, Livermore, California. It offers 24-hour Medicare-certified care in an 83-bed facility near downtown Livermore. We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.

  • Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.

  • Help with mobility and ensure residents are safe and comfortable during transfers.

  • Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions in accordance with facility policies.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.

  • Assist with infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.

  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with nursing staff to create and implement care plans.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fresh or newly licensed CNAs are welcome

  • Experienced CNA is preferred

  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility/long-term care/senior care is a plus

  • Valid and active CNA license in the state of California

  • Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association

  • Must have an active CPR Certification

  • Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required

  • Interest in working with the geriatric population

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Basic understanding of nursing care procedures and patient safety protocols.

  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their families.
