Here's What You'll Do for Our Residents & Facility:
Surveillance: Monitor and analyze resident infection data to detect and contain emerging outbreaks early
Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to state, federal, and CDC infection control guidelines, including proper hand hygiene and isolation precautions
PPE & Environment: Oversee the availability, proper usage, and disposal of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) facility-wide
Reporting: Document outbreaks and submit mandatory reports to local health departments and regulatory agencies
Skills Validation: Perform and document competency assessments and skills validation
Skills Education: Educate staff on various clinical skill and protocols as needed
In Servicing: Plan, schedule, and execute mandatory continuing education and in-service training
Documentation: Monitor & maintain up-to-date records of all education and training hours
Identify Gaps: Identify educational needs based on quality reviews, incident reports, and audits.
Survey Readiness: Assist in preparing for count/state Department of Health or CMS surveys.
