About the Role:

The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the healthcare provider by ensuring the smooth operation of clinical and administrative tasks within a busy, fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic. This position involves direct patient interaction, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting provider during procedures. The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining a sterile and safe environment by adhering to strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards. By efficiently managing both clinical and clerical duties, the Medical Assistant helps enhance patient care quality and clinic workflow. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall patient experience and the effective delivery of healthcare services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs accurately.
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control procedures.
