As a registered nurse in our correctional healthcare team, you play a pivotal role in delivering professional nursing care in a challenging yet gratifying environment. As a State of Iowa Employee, you will also receive a robust benefits package including: Paid time off, Excellent health, dental and vision packages. IPERS retirement package and an option for deferred compensation plan that has a state match, Flexible spending account both medical and dependent care, free life insurance, employee assistance programs and employee discount programs. The hours would be 1p-11p however different schedule can be discussed with the Supervisor. There is also a $3,000 sign on bonus if you aren't already a state employee. $1500 paid on your first check and the remaining $1500 at the completion of your 6 months. Come join our Team. Minimum Qualification Requirements Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. NOTE: Please include your State of Iowa or Compact State License Number when submitting your application Compact license holders are required to obtain an Iowa license within 60 days.
