$60.00 per hour + Overtime

Travel Package:
Lodging provided or $125/day housing per diem
$50/day food per diem paid 7 days per week


Project Overview

Great Basin Industrial Solutions is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians with industrial project experience to support a major electrical installation project in Bismarck, North Dakota.

This project involves installation and commissioning of industrial power distribution, control systems, and electrical infrastructure supporting heavy equipment and process systems.

This role is ideal for electricians with backgrounds in:

  • Industrial facilities

  • Manufacturing plants

  • Power generation

  • Mining operations

  • Water/wastewater plants

  • Large commercial or industrial builds

Candidates should be comfortable working in structured industrial environments with strict safety protocols and technical electrical installations.


Key ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Electrical Installation
  • Install conduit systems (EMT, Rigid, IMC) in industrial environments

  • Install and support cable tray systems and industrial cable routing

  • Pull and terminate power and control wiring

  • Install and connect industrial motors, panels, MCCs, and equipment

Electrical Equipment & Systems
  • Perform electrical hookups for:

    • motors

    • control panels

    • switchgear

    • industrial machinery

  • Terminate and troubleshoot control circuits and power circuits

  • Assist with equipment energization and commissioning

Print & Documentation Interpretation
  • Read and interpret:

    • electrical blueprints

    • wiring diagrams

    • schematics

    • installation drawings

  • Follow project specifications and installation standards

Troubleshooting & System Testing
  • Diagnose electrical faults in industrial systems

  • Assist with system startup, testing, and verification

  • Verify proper installation and operation of electrical components

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow NFPA, NEC, and OSHA safety standards

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Participate in daily safety meetings and site compliance procedures


Minimum QualificationsLicensing

North Dakota Journeyman Electrician License required
OR ability to reciprocate prior to starting

License reciprocity fees will be reimbursed on the first paycheck.

Experience

Minimum 4+ years industrial electrical experience

Strong preference for experience in:

  • Industrial construction

  • Manufacturing facilities

  • Power plants

  • Water/wastewater plants

  • Mining or energy infrastructure

Technical Skills

Candidates should demonstrate experience with:

  • Industrial conduit installation

  • Cable tray installation

  • Motor terminations

  • Electrical equipment hookups

  • Industrial troubleshooting

  • Reading electrical drawings and schematics

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • Work on ladders and lifts

  • Work in active industrial environments

  • Work extended shifts when required

Employment Requirements
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
