About the role.

The positionis responsible forall electrical duties in the maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems.Theyassistwith and perform installation and maintenance tasksin order toensure thesafe andeffective operation of various electricaland mechanicalequipment.This position reports to the Electrical Supervisor.

Whatyou'llbe doing.

• Rotating shift consisting of Days and Nights

• Actively contribute to the "TEAM" by working diligently to correct and prevent any instrumentation,electricalor mechanicalproblems where there is a safety or food safety risk or where there is the potential to limit OEE.

• Responsible foridentifying,detectingand documenting all potential repair problems on the above-mentioned equipmentduring the course ofyour normal duties.

• Responsible for reporting any HACCP Food Safety Risk's oridentifiedproblems.

• Attend Team meetings asrequired

• Managing daily SAP - Accountable for all Electrical/Instrumentdeficiencies/findings by creating a Work Notification (work orders, Maintenance plans)

• Maintain and manage equipment calibration and repair documentation.

• Installs,maintainsandrepairelectrical/instrumentation/mechanical equipment, and fixtures.Ensure that the work isin accordance withrelevant codes.

• Installandtroubleshootall pneumatic, electronic,electricaland analytical instrumentation devices

• Services all process control communication networks

• Services environmental and other analytical instruments

• Must work closely with production and maintenance supervision as a team player tokeep linerunning with minimum downtime.

• Responsible for housekeeping inshopand any work areas.

• Perform other duties/tasks asassigned bysupervisor.

• Verbally communicateidentifiedEmergency/Urgent repair problems effectively.

• Mustcomply withGMP's, Safety, and HACCP Best Operating Procedures.

• Must be able and willing to promote continuous improvement of workplacesafety.

• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials toidentifythe cause of errors or other problems or defects.

• Time Management - Managingone'sown time and thetimeof others.

• Maintains Safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the manager.

• Other duties as required by the needs of the business.

This position is based in a regulated manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Employees must consistently follow all GMP, safety, and hygiene requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, personal items, and attire while on the production floor. Compliance with these standards is an essential duty of the role to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Whatyou'llneed to be successful.

• Must be a fully Licensed Industrial Electrician with experience in manufacturing and/or process industries.

• Must be a fully Licensed Industrial Electrician with experience in manufacturing and/or process industries.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting complex electrical equipment.

• Be able to read and understand blueprints,P&ID's,equipmentmanualsand other relevant material.

• Knowledge of materials, methods, andthe toolsinvolved in the construction or repairof electrical equipment.

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

• Using logic and reasoning toidentifythe strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,conclusionsor approaches to problems.

• Selecting and using training/instructional methods and proceduresappropriate forthe situation when learning or teaching new things.

• Understand the fundamentals of a CMMS (SAP) and be able toutilizeit for daily work.

• Developingrespectful,constructiveand cooperative working relationships with others.

• The ability to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and written sentences.

• The ability to concentrate on a task overa period of timewithout being distracted.
