Job description

Position Summary

Level 3 Industrial is seeking a skilled Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our customers with equipment installation, machinery relocation, preventative maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, conveyor systems, piping, fabrication, and plant maintenance projects. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Install, relocate, and commission industrial machinery and equipment

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals

  • Install and modify piping systems, equipment supports, and structural components

  • Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as required

  • Align, level, and anchor industrial machinery

  • Support shutdowns, emergency repairs, and capital improvement projects

  • Complete work orders, service reports, and project documentation

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

  • Represent Level 3 Industrial professionally at customer facilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and industrial machinery

  • Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts

  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred

  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments

  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work extended hours as needed

  • Ability to travel to customer sites throughout the Southeast as required
