You will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business at our York, PA facility. This position will be onsite at our York facility for our Fall 2026 season (September-December). Relocation will not be offered, and housing is not provided. This position is expected to be Full-Time (40 hours / week) or Part-time (30 hours/ week)
The Combat Vehicles line of business within the Platforms & Services (P&S) Sector of BAE Systems is looking for an intern who is pursuing an Industrial, Systems, or Process Engineering degree to support the assembly of armored military vehicles.
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will:
  • Apply basic engineering design and/or analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices to a limited portion of technical projects
  • Use Microsoft Access, Excel, Visio and Project to set up, organize and analyze technical information
  • Provide support to create and maintain standard work
  • Update plant drawings using AutoCAD
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety policies and rules
  • Interact and communicate with Union personnel
  • Share responsibility for self-development with immediate supervisor
  • Work with full time Industrial Engineers and be required to utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help improve production standards and KPIs

Required Skills and Education
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Systems, Process or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week during the fall semester
