Position Requirements
CRNA opportunity for a day shift with 7 on 7 off, in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year!
Description
AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David's HealthCare system in the Austin area. St. David's Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David's Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.
Case Assignments
Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals; as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.
Shifts
Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
Saturday and Sunday 7am - 7pm, following 7 days off
No additional call

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
