Indrotec is currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position.


The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, install, setup, maintain, repair and upgrade production lines, which includes, assembly and disassembly of mixing, heating and extrusion equipment, building maintenance, HVAC maintenance and Inventory Management. Essential


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair and installation of: mechanical devices and components, electronic devices and pneumatics systems
  • Perform preventive inspections, lubrication, periodic and incidental maintenance, and repair of production equipment & HVAC
  • Perform maintenance, inspection, testing, and operation of all steam boilers and related equipment
  • Perform fabrication of equipment and parts through welding and some basic machining processes
  • Coach and train production operators in basic maintenance of production machinery and equipment


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree and five or more years industrial maintenance or equivalent experience
  • Two-year technical training degree desired
  • Forklift certification
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools, pipe threading, TIG welding
  • Electrical experience with AC/DC high and low voltages
  • Read and comprehend schematics, blueprints, specifications, procedure manuals and instructions
  • Possess a valid Special MN Boiler's License, or ability to obtain
  • Skilled operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts


Schedule

  • 3rd Shift


Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines.
