Company Description The Bunker is a rapidly growing indoor golf simulator and bar that offers guests a modern, social entertainment experience. Featuring multiple simulator bays equipped with top-of-the-line TrackMan launch monitors, The Bunker caters to both avid golfers and those new to the sport. The venue hosts a variety of events, including nights out, corporate gatherings, golf leagues, and fundraisers. Guests also enjoy an indoor/outdoor bar, patio area, fire tables, and a menu focused on high-quality, delicious food. The team is committed to exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Saratoga, NY, responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations at The Bunker. This role manages staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring excellent service in the simulator bays, bar, and dining areas. The General Manager monitors venue cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality, including coordination of maintenance for TrackMan simulators and other facility assets. They oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships for food, beverages, and supplies, as well as basic budget tracking, cash handling, and sales reporting. The role also includes supporting marketing and promotional activities, coordinating events and leagues, handling customer feedback, and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in hospitality, bar/restaurant, or entertainment venue management, with strong people leadership and team-building skills.
  • Operational management capabilities, including scheduling, inventory control, vendor coordination, and basic budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Customer service and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for guests with diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Event coordination skills for hosting leagues, corporate events, and private functions, including logistics, staffing, and guest communication.
  • Comfort with technology and point-of-sale systems; experience with golf simulators or TrackMan is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external partners.
