Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, fostering trust and productive relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their ongoing progress and stability, planning for discharge when clinically appropriate.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes for each client to ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine appropriate treatment pathways and resources for clients.
  • Provide consistent individual counseling sessions according to a structured weekly schedule, adapting approaches based on client feedback and progress.
  • Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, promoting continuous professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to client care and treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain a growth mindset, staying informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will focus on a youth population, providing mental health support to adolescents and young adults facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, and substance use issues. You will work closely with clients to create a safe and welcoming environment that promotes openness and healing, tailoring your therapeutic techniques to best suit the individual needs of each young client.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
  • Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements within various clinical settings.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals with substance abuse challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Proficient computer skills, including basic keyboarding, and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Compensation and Benefits
