Bitdeer is seeking a Communications Lead responsible for spearheading the company's US media strategy, brand storytelling, and public affairs within the fast-paced AI and crypto-mining data center sector. You will serve as the primary press lead, leveraging a strong network of financial and business journalists to secure high-impact earned media while aligning local narratives with global HQ objectives. The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of experience in corporate communications and a proven ability to provide high-level PR counsel across complex multimedia platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • US Communications strategy: Drive planning and execution in alignment with HQ Group objectives, protocol requirements and outcome expectations.
  • Digital communications: Develop and produce appropriate multimedia owned content for use in announcements such as news releases, media statements, social media posts, online blogs, etc.
  • Earned media: Press office function for the Groups' US-based operations, including maintaining journalist relationships, securing positive coverage with key financial, business and crypto media; preparing and supporting company spokesperson interactions with journalists.
  • Brand storytelling: Craft authentic storytelling narratives that connect the company's US-based operations with local culture and resonates with community values.
  • Public affairs: Identify and facilitate local external stakeholder interactions relevant to the company's operational footprint to engender deeper public understanding of the company's value proposition and contribution.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully operate in a complex, dynamic fast-paced working environment. Bitcoin mining and crypto industry experience highly regarded.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with experience in corporate communications roles, responsible for brand storytelling, media relations and content production.
  • Experience in providing communications and public relations counsel and proven track-record applying judgement that results in a positive or desired outcome.
  • Excellent writing skills that demonstrate the ability to communicate logically across a range for content formats.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and gain alignment across various multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with an ability to determine informational needs, collect and analyze information, and develop statistical analysis and reports.
  • A strong base of existing journalist relationships with key US-based business, financial and industry media
