Job description

This position requires extensive knowledge of the floor care equipment as well as floor care cleaning processes, procedures and chemical usage. Deep Cleaner provides excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Horseshoe Indianapolis policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations.  Note - this position will not involve any function involving casino gambling by patrons. 

  • Experience in cleaning, janitorial or housekeeping preferred.
  • May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC) License.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Horseshoe Indianapolis is a smoking establishment.
  • Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
  • Requires Access to the gaming floor.
  • Clean all surfaces in restrooms, casino gaming floor, and back of house areas.
