Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 14-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while helping patients achieve their highest level of communication and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services based on patient goals and needs.
  • Assess and treat dysphagia (swallowing disorders).
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and treatment planning skills.
  • Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
