These contractors operate their own vehicles or fleets and are responsible for handling logistics, schedules, and compliance with USPS guidelines. Unlike USPS employees, they are not eligible for government benefits and must manage their own taxes and expenses. This role offers flexible work arrangements but requires strict adherence to USPS delivery standards and safety regulations.
