Structural Project Manager
Our Tennessee division is looking to hire a Structural Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be a licensed PE in Tennessee, have a minimum of 10 years of experience and will work within a team of professionals designing and developing plans for bridge and retaining wall structures. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, wants to work on complex and engaging projects, and desires increasing levels of responsibility.
Location
The successful candidate will be given the option to work a hybrid work schedule in our Franklin or Nashville office.
The Impact You Will Have
  • Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects
  • Manage the process of compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates and pay items in accordance with TDOT standards
  • Lead structural designers on bridge design projects
  • Prepare and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports necessary for bridge projects
  • Work with clients in the development of scopes of work and fee estimate proposals
  • Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files and plans assuring adequate independent QC reviews on that work
What We Are Looking For
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
  • PE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain through reciprocity
  • Minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience but 12 years of experience is preferred
  • Experience working with TDOT and local municipalities
  • Excellent communication and client relation skills
  • Progressive experience with developing contracts and utilizing Bently CAD and design software
  • Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
  • Ability to perform complex analysis and design
  • Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects
