SCOPE:
Plans, conducts and review Structural Design Analysis for all exterior aluminum products. Familiar how to read and coordinate between different drawings, standard concepts, practices and procedures within Structural Engineering and applies them to accomplish goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficient with structural design analysis programs; RISA-3D, SAP2000, STAAD...etc.
  • High knowledge US building codes and design manuals.
  • High experience working with latest AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and flexible to change tasks with short time notice.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills.
  • Coordinate products shop drawings, manufacturing, installation, support, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.
  • Generates AutoCAD details based on conceptual sketches or needs to develop custom design to meet the needs of the customers.
  • Assumes additional related responsibilities and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of structural design analysis with aluminum and s teel structures. C andidate should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineer with experience specifically in Louver design and/or design of other Building Facade components and structures.
  • Must be a self-starter, with demonstrated autonomy, able to handle unexpected events and take advantage of opportunities to achieve results to meet and exceed expectations
  • Must perform as a flexible team member and be a proficient leader and developer of technical people
  • Must be able to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and related software
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
  • Knowledge of installation, machining and welding techniques.
