Company Logo Overview Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established post-tension company that has been in business for over 30 years. Suncoast is a specialty concrete contractor ranked in the top 100 in the ENR 600 specialty contractors and the largest supplier of post tensioned material for commercial buildings in the country. We are a nationwide company with offices from coast to coast. We are looking for a Professional Structural Engineer or EIT to join our team. Successful candidates will work with the design and construction of post tensioned system in concrete structures such as high rise condominiums, apartment buildings, office buildings, parking garages. Responsibilities Lead in the design of elevated commercial Post Tension buildings Functioning as an internal liaison on constructability issues, design changes, construction problems, and other implementation issues that arise during the construction process Prepare repair procedures for damaged concrete/post-tensioning as needed Qualifications BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred; MS preferred 2-5 years’ experience preferred Knowledgeable in building construction and construction sequencing along with knowledge in both ACI and IBC requirements is ideal Must be eligible to take the FE/PE exams Must have a strong team-building personality, and proficient in verbal and written communications Software experience preferred: Adapt PT (RISA), Ram Concept, AutoCAD Consulting experience a plus Additional Information Salary Range: $90,000+ per year Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law Benefits: 401(k) + matching Health, Dental, Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (PTO) Holiday Pay Suncoast is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
