Location: Lenexa, KS

We have an opportunity available in our Lenexa, KS headquarters for a Civil Structural Engineer who is interested in building design. GBA offers the opportunity to work on a large variety of structures and building types from start to finish in a collaborative multi-disciplined team environment with room for career growth.
What You'll Do
  • Perform structural calculations for building projects
  • Prepare and/or direct others in preparing structural construction documents
  • Manage all aspects of the structural design process
  • Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers
  • Review construction shop drawings and respond to contractor inquiries
  • Opportunity for cross-training in structural bridge design, if desired
What You Bring
  • BS/MS in Architectural or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural design
  • EIT certification
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Revit (required)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on fast-paced projects
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
