What You Will Do:

The Full Stack Developer is responsible to help define and design the requirements, UI/UX, construction, integration, testing, verification and maintenance of unit tests and core application code for the models, views, and controllers of our API-based services. The individual must be forward-thinking and share in a common vision of quality, integrity and efficiency. They must also be versatile in the understanding of micro services in packaged federated and containerized hosting infrastructure environments.

Job Description:

As a full stack development engineer in payment technology team you will help lead, design, enhance and build our services for Customers in an agile development environment. This is a new team, however you will be working with colleagues, who will help, support and challenge you every day. Unit testing, peer programming, code reviewing, and regular check-ins for continuous integration is just part of your DNA. You will start out learning our systems from the ground up, helping to develop secure applications and refactoring existing .NET 2/4 web forms. You will be working in a continuous lifecycle environment and will get excellent payments, banking, and ecommerce experience working on the future of payments.

We expect our engineers and developers to do much more than just writing code. In this role, you will advance and/or hone your skills efficient to:

  • Help our clients to achieve their real goals by understanding the requirements and how it would help them in their business
  • Work closely with stakeholders and UXUI to produce applications that flow seamlessly and work intuitively with our merchants, our banking clients, our partner affiliates, and cardholder customers.
  • Comfortable with leading meeting and discussions with non-technical teams
  • Finding the best and most creative solution to many different types of problems
  • Write optimized and quality code.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop server, web and mobile (Full Stack) applications primarily in SQL, .NET C#
  • Develop and provide support for features in new as well as existing .NET-based system while striving to improve performance and availability
  • Other valuable skills: Java and/or Ruby, Angular/React, DBA, Knockout
  • Design and program new components and enhance existing software in a small, nimble, customer-focused environment where working independently is key
  • Design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high re-usability and maintainability
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the software architecture, frameworks and functionalities
  • Work with others on development team to share and implement ideas for programming standards, design approaches and internal development processes
  • Work independently to analyze, solve and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Maintain highest levels of data security and encryption
  • Provide clean, tested code and follow fluid release processes based on client needs
  • Support and prioritize multiple ongoing projects
  • Understand entire technical landscape and integrate new applications accordingly.
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Document and deploy developed programs
  • Provide training and technical support as needed to end-users
  • Any other tasks as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in complex development environments including:
  • Hands-on knowledge of the .NET Framework (2.0, 3.5, 4.0 and/or 4.5+), including Visual Studio, TFS, C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and Web API)
  • 5+ years’ experiencing working with Microsoft SQL Server AND MySQL/MariaDB/Percona.
  • Working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, and Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
  • Good understanding of Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS)
  • Working knowledge of development tools such as source control (Source Anywhere, TFS, Subversion, build server, etc.) and continuous integration build practices.
  • Experience in designing secure applications and awareness of security implications from design to implementation phase of project.
  • Experience with PCI-DSS environments
  • Experience with performance analysis, profiling and optimization.
  • High initiative, self-motivation and drive to exceed expectations.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written communication.


Preferred Qualifications

  • General technical awareness (Servers, networking, workstation hardware, etc).
  • Understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of the credit card processing industry.
  • Experience developing / integrating payment gateways.
  • Experience working with FIS Horizon, NMI, CSI, or any other Banking Core.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and IIS administration
  • Understanding of Test-Driven and Object-Oriented Design
  • Knowledge of multi-tier development and separation of concerns
  • Knowledge of modern design patterns
  • UX/UI Design experience
