This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential
elevators and accessibility equipment in both residential and light commercial environments
throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
We are specifically seeking candidates with experience working on:
✔ Residential Elevators (ASME A17.1 / A17.7)
✔ Vertical Platform Lifts & Wheelchair Lifts
✔ Stairlifts & Accessibility Equipment
✔ Light Commercial Mobility Lifts (ASME A18.1)
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent
customer communication, and the ability to work independently in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair:
● Residential elevators
● Vertical platform lifts (VPLs)
● Stairlifts
● Overhead patient lifts
● Vehicle lifts
● Accessibility ramps and related equipment
Additional Responsibilities:
● Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
● Read and interpret wiring diagrams, shop drawings, and construction blueprints
● Evaluate project conditions at residential and commercial job sites
● Coordinate with clients, contractors, inspectors, and manufacturers throughout
installations and service work
● Maintain a high level of workmanship, professionalism, and safety
● Complete digital job documentation and communicate updates clearly with management
and customers

Bruno, Harmar, Savaria, Pollock, PVE, Human Care, National Ramp, and other residential
elevator and accessibility brands.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
● Current Elevator Mechanic License
OR
● Minimum 3 years of verifiable industry experience with residential elevators, wheelchair
lifts, stairlifts, or related accessibility equipment with the ability to obtain state licensure
Preferred Experience
● Residential elevator installation and service
● Accessibility and mobility equipment
● Electrical troubleshooting and low-voltage wiring
● Mechanical assembly and field service work
● Customer-facing field service experience
Skills & Abilities
● Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
● Ability to read wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and blueprints
● Comfortable using a wide variety of hand and power tools
● Strong communication and customer service skills
● Computer and smartphone literacy for digital service documentation
● Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
● Strong attention to detail and safety
Physical Requirements
● Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs
● Ability to work in residential construction environments, including stairs and tight spaces
● Ability to enter and exit service vehicles repeatedly throughout the day

● Ability to pass background screening
● Reliable transportation to/from reporting location
